INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — In a story published May 19, 2026, about Caitlin Clark being the Indianapolis 500 grand marshal, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Clark would be giving the starting command. Roger Penske will be giving the command, while Clark will be telling drivers to report to their vehicles.
